Hospital social workers are the liaison between patients and hospital staff.  They play the crucial role of connecting patients to needed services and facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure the best care is being provided.  As practitioners, social workers are trained to help people address personal and systemic barriers to optimal living.

Throughout the month of March, we recognize the challenges facing social workers, and celebrate the cultural competence, compassion and organizational skills of social workers, Andrea Raynor (L) and Starr Waller (R) from our case management department.
