The Fredonia Planning Board on Tuesday, June 15, approved the request by the Brooks-TLC Hospital System for a one-year site plan extension for the construction of a new hospital, on East Main Street in the village.
“We are pleased the Fredonia Planning Board has agreed to a one-year extension with Brooks-TLC for our site plan for the proposed new hospital on East Main Street in Fredonia,” said Brooks-TLC President and CEO Mary LaRowe. “All of the stakeholders in this project continue to work diligently together to advance the process of building a new hospital for our community. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic delayed the process for the past 16-months, however, as the Covid-19 rate has steadily decreased in our community and throughout New York State, we are hopeful to see the process move forward in the near term.”
