Gowanda Urgent Care is CLOSED, Sunday, Aug. 9

If you need urgent medical services, please visit your nearest Emergency Department or call 9-1-1. Brooks Hospital ED 529 Central Ave. is open 24/7

Brooks-TLC Hospital is transitioning to Epic as part of the larger Kaleida Health migration to improve safety, coordination, and access to patient health information. Epic securely compiles a patient’s medical history, prescriptions, and lab results across different healthcare providers. This new electronic health record (EHR) platform will help every member of a patient’s care team stay connected and informed, supporting safer and more coordinated care.

As we continue through this transition, patients may notice occasional delays while our teams adapt to the new platform. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these important improvements to better support your care.

Brooks-TLC is your community hospital.

The caregivers of Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. (BTLC) have a vital and dynamic relationship with the communities we serve. As a community hospital, our ‘communities’ are not only those who live outside our walls but also those who work under our roof. The nearly 400 people who dedicate themselves to daily providing quality, compassionate healthcare do so with the passionate belief that we are connected to all the people we serve as family, friends, acquaintances, neighbors and welcome guests.
This website has been developed with those connections in mind. While we want this site to be an open doorway providing you with information about services we offer which are vital to you and your family’s health, wellness and recovery from illness or injury, we are continually mindful that this should fore mostly serve as a vehicle for connecting with us, and us with you.

Just as the relationship between people is dynamic, so also is this website. Continue to check back and visit with us online to see how we’re bringing healthcare to life in our communities, or contact us at myhealth@brookshospital.org.

– Your friends, neighbors, and healthcare partners at Brooks-TLC

For the safety of our patients, our staff, and YOU, visitation is as follows:
OUTPATIENT: 1 person per patient for outpatient svcs and diagnostics (i.e. labs, x-ray, wound care) 1 person per adult surgery patient, 1 person per Emergency Dept. patient.

Testimonials

I decided to ‘go big or go home’ after Dr. Shephard recommended I do both hips at the same time. My quality of life has improved significantly and my recovery went very well. I was discharged from home PT quickly because I was doing better than my PT expected. Dr. Shephard’s sense of humor eased my nerves. I recommend him and already gave a coworker his office number!

I like working at Brooks for many reasons, but one reason is the family culture. When anyone needs help, everyone helps out like they would family. Dr. Barker (ED) recently heard I wanted to restore the rocking chair that was my daughter Crisha’s, when she was a little girl. He is a talented woodworker and he came to me and offered to do it. I could give it to my granddaughter, Salma for her first Birthday. It was a special gift from two doctors!
